The tough 1200D ripstop exterior is made of RePET®, a fabric created from recycled plastic. Each blanket saves approximately 315 water bottles from going into a landfill! This blanket features a unique cut that is specially designed to provide an ideal fit for Quarter Horses and other stock breeds with a broader shoulder and hindquarters, a cutback wither, and a shorter drop. The blanket still has all the features and dependability you know and love about Deluxe turnouts, with the added bonus of being better for the environment. Its uncompromising quality and construction include breathable waterproofing to keep your horse warm, dry, and protected, silky nylon lining that's smooth against his coat, comfortable fleece padding at the withers, generous shoulder gussets for freedom of movement, and a roomy tail flap. Quick-clip front closures make taking this blanket on and off a breeze, and combined with cross-belly surcingles and nylon/elastic leg straps, provide a secure, adjustable fit.

Decent fit for stocky horse
Bought this on Black Friday specifically for the stocky fit it says it is. Other reviews said it was short on the sides, but I didn't have that problem. I bought an 80" for my Azteca. He has a massive shoulder and barrel that I have struggled to find a good fitting blanket for. The sides are a good length for him, and he has plenty of space over his bum. The shoulder area is the roomiest I've found in a blanket so far, but he could almost even take more room. It's a great quality blanket, color is cute (I got the Navy w/ Merlot & Silver Trim & Silver Piping ) and I like the easy front chest clips. I gave it 4 stars because I haven't had it long, so we'll see how it holds up.

Nice quality blanket
I bought this for my girl before the cold came in. Kept her toasty throughout our 0 to negatives windchill with the cold snap here in KY! She’s extremely stocky and still growing and it fits her very well with some room to continue growing

Great fit for my AQHA
I have a 15/15.1 hand AQHA gelding (a reiner/ranch riding guy) and the 78'' fit my horse great! I was a little concerned it may swallow him as he's not built like a brick house but its great. I could have sized down to a 76'' and they probably would have been a little better... but he is young and I'm pretty sure he has more growing to do, plus fill out! He lays down often and the barn tends to be pretty dusty, but this blanket is a champ! I just brush it off every other day and it still looks practically brand new. Really happy with it and how there is a nylon stable sheet to match. May need to get the hood too!

Nice Blanket
Overall it’s a good blanket, it fits my short and stocky QH mare well. Stays waterproof. I have only used it one season and a snap broke, plus the piping came loose. So a bit disappointed about that.

I bought two of these (72 and 74) bc not sure of size but they were only 1/4" difference in length along the topline and neither was large enough. Overall the Deluxe Turnout with Earth Friendly fabric are nice blankets, but I gave two stars because I specifically wanted a blanket for a stocky horse and this isn't any stockier than the standard fit (which I already have in a 72). It's supposed to be roomier in the shoulder and butt, but the only difference is the sides are shorter (topline to bottom), and I don't want shorter sides. The only reason to buy this blanket instead of the Standard Fit is if you have a particularly short horse and want the shorter sides. That's why I'm not recommending it.

Great fit for large shouldered horse
I bought this for my 17H horse. He's got a massive shoulder and I generally have a hard time finding something that fits him properly and this blanket does the trick, He is also awfully hard on his blankets, as is his T/O buddy whom I see pull it with his teeth pretty constantly, and it's holding up fine. A worthwhile buy!

Nice blanket
I bought an 84 for my boy. It fits him well except, I think it is a bit short. It doesnt go around his belly like in the photo. He is 16.2HH. I also bought the matching neck blanket which is easy to attach and that fits him well. Just wish it was a bit longer around the belly

Great Fitting
Got this for a stocky Quarter horse, and fits great. Looks like it should hold up well, very well made! Haven't had it long but so far it's awesome. Also the snaps on the chest so that is a nice change.
