Worth it!
I have awful knee pain when riding due to having torn off the meniscus in both knees. Does this keep me from riding? Of course not, but it’s hard to stay focus and enjoy it when every posting trot and jump is painful! I’ve tried a wider foot bed compositi stirrup but still had a little lingering pain.
I flip flopped on these due to the price tag but finally decided to go for it - worth every penny! I wish I had bought them sooner. Absolutely no knee pain, my leg was set up perfectly, and they are so secure. The slight downward angle and weight of the stirrups help keep your heels down with out having to overflex your joints to get there. Only one ride in them so far but haven’t seen any of the chipping other people noticed. Don’t sleep on these. This is seriously the first time in years I’ve ridden with out any knee pain!

Amazing stirrup
I have used these stirrups for almost 2 years now and they are definitely amazing! zThey are heavy duty and have a nice wide base for the foot. The slant helps to ensure that the heel stays in the correct position. Overall, they are my go to stirrup and usual other stirrups after these have not been the same.

Almost perfect.
I love the feel and function of these but they are not very durable at all. My young horse swiped by a wood fence after only having these 2 weeks and that caused the paint to come off all the way down to the metal. I wish they had a better finishing process that would hold up because if it weren't for that, these would be perfect.

Save your Money!!!!!
All of the other reviews that are great must have not had these stirrups very long. I finally sold my second hand after two years of dealing with them. To start, the product description says they are lightweight.... NOT TRUE!! They are so heavy and add SO much weight to your saddle. Also, the product description says they are "anti-corrosion"..... then why did mine rust and corrode?? Also, the paint chips incredibly easy, so it really doesn't matter what color you get bc they will be matte silver pretty quickly. They chip every where too, your stirrup leathers rubbing them will make the pain chip. They are also so noisy. Its quite distracting when every time you shift your weight in the saddle your stirrups click at you... Not worth the $300, save your money and get something else, there are so many options for a wide foot bed "feel like a joint stirrup" type iron.

Incredible stirrups!
I bought these after using a pair of a trainers. I’ve always had knee and ankle problems; using these, the pain in minimized. They also offer me a better stability it the saddle and keep my leg in a better position. Very satisfied with these so far!

Quality product, color in stock photo misleading
After lusting after these in the gold color for over a year I finally ordered them and was very disappointed to take them out of the box and find that they are actually a dark green gold instead of the true champagne gold pictured in the stock photos. The Lorenzini website also pictures them as a champagne gold so it’s possible there was a manufacturer change made but regardless the product photos need updating. I’m hesitant to exchange in fear that the other colors are also inaccurate.
Stirrups themselves are awesome quality. Just enough weight to them to make them easy to pick up without being too heavy or putting stress on joints. Leg feels super secure and comfortable to ride in for long stretches of time.

BUY THEM
I first purchase these stirrups in gold after having them on my wishlist for months. Don’t order the gold. It’s a hideous dark, mustard green-tinted “gold” and nothing like the online product picture, resembling a nice, light yellowish champagne color. See attached picture. That being said, with SmartPak’s amazing return policy I was able to exchange them for the silver color. This color is much more acceptable. And then I rode in them.
HOLY LEG SECURITY. These stirrups are unlike any luxury I’ve ever ridden in before. I switched from the MDC Super Sport Stirrups, honestly just wanted something a little prettier. I never realized before that I wasn’t able to actually shove my heel down and keep it down while keeping leg contact… instead of my heel popping up a little during each canter stride, my heel can sink deeper and deeper and even sitting the canter feels better. Never going back to jointed stirrups! If you’ve been thinking about shelling out the cash for the Lorenzinis, just try them! SmartPak’s return policy will take care of you!

Pretty but...
I bought these about 2 months ago, since then I have gotten a handful of rides/lessons with them. At first I really loved them, they are beautiful and offer a nice grip to the foot, but as I rode in them I quickly realized they are quite noisy. I don't think its anything more than the way they are manufactured with the screw holding on the footplate but they really creek and make a lot of noise overall. I can't really stand the noise they make so I did have to return them, but they are absolutely beautiful and offer a nice wide base with a good grip. I think if they were quiet they would have stayed in my tackroom but that one detail did it for me (especially with what you pay for them).

As described
Was looking for a wider based stirrup but like the feel of something more substantial as opposed to the lighter weight composite ones. Can see how these could get chipped up—even with dressage but have been very careful and so far no nicks over the past 3 weeks with almost daily use. Feel that it’s easier to keep my heel down, too. Would def buy again.
