Doesn't taste good
My OTTB has the standard TB feet. My farrier and I have been dealing with my horses poor hoof growth since I've had him (8+ years) I've had some success with Farriers Formula but due to sudden monthly shoe losses I decided to try to look for a different supplement to help my horses feet grow and gave this a try.
My horse has been on this for about 4 months and I've noticed no change due to the fact that my horse won't touch this supplement. He's never shied away from any sort of pellet foods except for this. I'm switching back to Farriers Formula.

I think it's working
I've been feeding this to my horse for a few months now, and I do think it's working. I got it to facilitate his transition to barefoot, after initially trying the regular SmartHoof and wanting something with a little more support. His new hoof growth seems to be coming in stronger since starting this. My horse is super picky, and I was pleased that he likes this supplement. It's pretty expensive, but seems to be worth it for the higher levels of biotin, copper, and zinc as well as the circulation improving ingredients.

All in one quality hoof support
To be honest the price is a lot for me. But I've used other cheaper products and you get what you pay for. There is more of the ingredients I'm looking for in Smarthoof Ultimate compared to the other less expensive brands. I have only been using this product for about 6 weeks but so far so good.

It is working !
Started it 6 months ago for my horse w tb hooves - weak walls . His feet look so much better and is not pulling shoes and the new growth is much better / Have tried many supplements and this one is working, when others have not.

Amazing supplement
This stuff works! I have an OTTB that needed a lot of help in the hoof department. I had him on other products, which seemed to help a bit, but wanted to boost his growth up to allow. This did the trick! I can definitely say he grows more foot faster. And his quality of hoof is looking so much better. With the help of my farrier, we are getting his feet looking much more normal. I have attached a picture to show how you can see the growth of the hoof since starting the supplement.

Really made a difference!
I have a 23 yr old TB mare that’s never grown enough foot to have shoes put on. I started her on this stuff way back at the start of this year and she not only has shoes on (and keeps them on!) for the first time in 12 years, but gets regular compliments now on her feet. As with ANY supplement, it takes about the 3 month mark to *really* notice a difference, but I definitely saw it.
I’ve tried a ton of other hoof supplements and nothing has ever compared. I’m a smartpak believer now! I am actually going to try switching her to the slightly lower dosed version of this now since her feet are growing SO fast now and seem to be thriving to just be a tad easier on the wallet. :)
Definitely a great idea if you’re rehabbing a foot, need some serious quality hoof growth, and a little anti inflammatory to boot. She’ll never have “model” feet, but for her, it’s been fantastic.

Good tasting.
I haven't been using the pellets long enough to see any results yet but I know that my horse likes the taste. I should be able to see results soon. Her feet grow slow.

Saved my mare’s feet!
My mare is extra sensitive to bugs, and she started to stomp her feet a lot in response to the bugs in the summer. We put her in shoes as her feet started crumbling due to it being dry and to the trauma from her stomping (we were doing absolutely everything we could to try and remedy the situation). Her feet still were weak in shoes so I put her on this supplement. It worked WONDERS! Her feet are beautiful, hard, and in good shape. She holds shoes (she also discovered a trick to pull her shoes herself which stopped working after this supplement). I cannot recommend this enough if you want your horse to have healthy and strong feet.
