Great affordable, and natural supplement!
I have used this for little over a year with my mare. When I got her, she was on all sorts of hormones and supplements because she was quite the feisty young mare. Overtime I was able to wean her off of all the hormone injections and mare magic, and she is now just on this. I will say though, this alone will not cure all mare behaviors. I bought this simply to help take the edge off of my mare, and to have a cheaper supplement, and it has done a great job just doing that.

Excellet Results
My mare was laid up for a month and limited to walking only and no turnout. In addition to being fairly herd bound to her two mare friends, she has also historically had massive mood swings during her heat cycle. I bought this raspberry leaf in anticipation of increased stress from being cooped up in her stall more while recovering from her injury. It worked like a charm! Not only was she much calmer in her stall when her two friends were out of their stalls being ridden, but her heat cycle has been far less dramatic. I will be keeping this in her daily supplement routine moving forward. And for anyone griping about how this is different than Mare Magic, both products are purely raspberry leaf. There shouldn't be any difference between the products as they both offer roughly the same amount of raspberry leaf per serving. Highly recommend for anyone looking to take the edge off of the drama without sacrificing your horse's shining personality.

Didn't really work for my mare
It was recommended by my trainer ad worked with some but not all horses so I tried it and for my mare I did not see a difference. On the recommendation of my vet I switchd to a magnesium supplement. My mare ate it fine.

Can you please bring mare magic back? I feel like smartpak is starting to get a little over the top with taking other company’s products and slapping a smartpak label on it.

Helped with my bratty mare!
I have a young, athletic mare who isn't shy about telling you when she's annoyed with working. She's a big, beautiful, fire breathing dragon! Never has hurt me, but she will grind her teeth, snort and kick out if she's at the end of her patience. Never a cuddler.
However, after two months of this, I can definitely see a difference. She's even been on stall rest due to unrelated issues and I've been able to hand walk her a lot easier than I've been able to in the past. She went to the vet today and they even said she was "sweet," which is a word I would never have described her as. I have also been able to get a few friendly nuzzles out of her while she's in her stall. Since the weather has been chilly, which normally equals frisky horses, I definitely chalk this milder behavior up to the raspberry leaf because she'd normally be off the walls.
For those saying it doesn't work as well as mare magic, Ive had the opposite result as mare magic did not work for her. The concentration of raspberry leaf in this is also higher than in mare magic, so that might be the difference for my horse.

Saddly did not work for my mare
I have tried this supplement for a couple months now and saddly it doesn't work at all for my mare. I have not tried mare magic so I don't know if that's a better option or not. Nor do I notice her behavior being altered because of this supplement in positive or negative ways. It just doesn't work for my mare it seems. I've had to place my mare on a special herbal medication due to her behavior and anxiety causing other health issues per our vets professional opinion. I wish I could say this supplement worked but for me and my mare it saddly hasn't. If it did it would of saved me alot of money.

Not as effective as Mare Magic
SmartPak stopped carrying Mare Magic and switched to their own brand of Raspberry Leaf. Maybe it's my imagination, but I don't think it works. I'm switching back to Mare Magic. It's too bad I can't purchase it from SmartPak

Didn't work for mare or gelding
Bought this for my crotchety mare in hopes of calming her as she's hormonal when in heat. Didn't create any positive change and after a few days on it she got worse. I ended up selling her and had some left over so I thought I would give it to my gelding. His attitude got worse as well! I took him off it after about 4-5 days and he returned to normal temperament. Not sure what happened but it affected 2 of my horses negatively after less than a week on it each.

Knock down cycle attitude
I own a crazy mare. She would eat any other horse 15 days a month. Now I give this everyday. No problems no attitude. Rides with alertness. Moods gone ,this is after 5 years of problems.
