The tubes of perfect prep products are huge, the paste is thick, and it’s not the easiest to administer. We usually just squirt it into their grain. The pellets are more economical and easier to feed in their soaked grain at horse shows.

Expensive But Effective
The directions were correct... administered 90 minutes prior to need and focus / calm / sweet behavior resulted, even when an unexpected very loud construction team with heavy machinery rolled through right next to the trail. The results from 1 full tube lasted about 90 minutes (not 6 hours) on a 600 pound pony. Overall it helped the pony focus and calm down to work through training in an area it had spooked in previously and get a new, positive, experience without having so much anxiety.

Turned the naughty pony into an angel!!!
I wish I had tried Perfect Prep earlier! The attitude difference in my daughter's pony was nothing short of a miracle!! It is a bit of a fight to get him to take the tube but, once it's in, he is the pony every mom/trainer/kid dreams of!!

I used in conjunction with PP Gold pellets and was very satisfied with the effects on my gelding. I normally use the pp green label and think that might be a bit more effective

Worked quickly!!
This producers worked so quickly for my nervous mare, I gave her 1/4 of the tube 45 mins before I rode her and it make her calm and collected

Life Saver!
This is a complete game changer! I used this along with the training day powder and the change in my gelding has been night and day. We usually have complete melt downs during the dressage phase (we both prefer the jumping phases) because he is high strung, overly alert and acting like we are about to go XC. He used to complete blow through all my aids and completely ignore me but after using this paste & training day powder, he is relaxed, focused and ready to work.

My go-to calming paste
This is my go-to calming paste for horse shows and hunter paces. My horse gets very anxious when she senses we are going to be trailering somewhere. I give her this about an hour before and she always get on the trailer well and comes off more relaxed when we get to our destination. Now that she's older I mostly use it to keep her from worrying too much during the trailer ride so she does not use up all of her energy before our show or pace. She seems to like the taste of this paste, which is good since it is a lot to give, but it does make her drool excessively after giving it. The drool goes away after an hour though.

Easy to use
I have used this multiple times for fireworks, stall rest, and horse shows. Takes the edge off allows my little mare to focus on something other than anxiety.
