Rated 5 out of 5 by Winnie from Really makes a difference We feed our horses all of the supplements and do you ever wonder if they really work or if they actually make a difference? I am now convinced that they do. I have fed my 13 yo Dutch Gelding the Matrix 5 + HA for 1.5 years. I prepare my horse supplements baggies to be added to the regular feed on at 7 - 12 day intervals. Due to barn staff changes, the product was omitted from the feeding schedule without my knowledge. At some point I noticed a decline in my horses performance and when I was ready to refill the supplements I became to know that non of them had been fed. This is like a blind taste test. I had no idea the supplements had not been given and it was driving me crazy to figure out why the horse was not feeling just right. Anyway, I re-started the Matrix 5+HA at a loading dose for a couple of days and then went back the regular regimen - and he was fine within 2 days. This was proof to me that the product actually works. I do must say - that each Lot # smells and tastes slightly different. The product is expensive - but worth every penny of it for my Grand Prix Dressage Horse.
