Uncle Jimmy's Licky Things - No Sugar Added 4.7 5 6 6
Good Product I purchase these along with my smartpaks that get shipped every month. My horse really likes these and it's lasts longer than a likit. These don't fall apart which is another good thing. I haven't tried the flavored ones because of all the sugar. I think the sugar free ones will probably last longer than the flavored ones because of the lack of sugar. April 5, 2013
Yum! My horses really like these and they seem to hold up in the heat/summer weather a little longer than the standard Uncle Jimmy's licky things, (which, too, are great but pull apart when it's hot out!). I like to have them in the stalls for them when they come in, in the afternoon, to get out of the sun and they love to eat/play with them! Was a staple when I had mine on stall rest as well! Good for chubby horses My horses LOVE the Licky Things. But my mare has gotten rather chubby over the winter and really should not be eating so much sweet stuff. I got her a Reduced Sugar one and she liked it, but it kept falling apart. Doesn't hold together at all as well as the usual Licky things. It's kind of the consistency of saw dust, but appartently tastes MUCH better. I rehung it 4 or 5 times, but she even licked it on the ground so it must be good. May 31, 2011
A hit with a teething TB I got this for a teething young TB for his Lickit holder, and he instantly went to work on it. He showed little interest in the flavored blocks, but this was a hit. I'm glad it's low sugar too. I will definitely keep this as his Lickit of choice. April 9, 2011
Big win! My gelding loves ANY of the Uncle Jimmy "snacks" and this wasn't any different. He has no health problems or sugar resistance concerns, but I always err on the side of caution when dealing with sugar, and this is a great way to do so! My gelding didn't hesitate to start licking and gnawing on it. These are great for "busy" horses that need a little more entertainment than others. Great product- another home run for Uncle Jimmy's! Great for Stall Rest Bought this for my mare since she has been a inside a lot this winter with all the storms. It keeps her busy and doesn't give her a sugar rush like other products. Love it! February 1, 2011
