Tuff Rider Men's Baroque Front Zip Paddock Boots 4 5 2 2
Decent boots, a little overpriced Not the highest quality leather for the price, but I discovered that there's not much choice in men's paddock boots. I bought them for my boyfriend 7 months ago and they're still intact after being used a couple times a week in the summer and fall. Quality-wise they are definitely not as nice as Ariats but a step up from Saxons. March 6, 2013
Great for growing feet It is a bit of a stretch to call the leather premium, yet it is not as bad as some of the cheap items that come out of India and China. The leather will crinkle after wearing just once. The boots are not narrow, and appear to be true to size: a surprise considering the low cost. The lining is somewhat lightly padded and appears to be "breathable". Our three riders say the boot is comfortable. If the leather gets wet, it will transfer black dye onto whatever it touches. Out of the three pairs we own, one pair had the boot upper separating from the heel. So, if you need a good paddock boot that won't break the horsey-budget,buy these. Then when your rider's feet have stopped growing, go out and buy them that really nice paddock boot brand and they will have it for thirty years-as I have had mine! June 15, 2012

To Clip or Not to Clip I've heard that body clipping in the spring is "too late" because you're clipping over the newly growing in coat... What do you think? What's the best body clipping schedule? - Jessica N., Charlotte, VT
