My 1st Pair of Spurs
I have been activity riding for about two years at a hunter/jumper facility; my instructor suggested buying a pair of spurs for the TB I have been working with. These spurs are great, like the other reviews say, they aren't scary. They just help keep your horse in front of your leg. Awesome buy and love the engraving.

Require Narrow Spur Straps
The spurs themselves are of good quality but the straps I ordered to go with them didn't fit through the holes. It would be helpful if the catalog identified which straps fit with which spurs. I took the straps back to the store and found some that fit so now I'm happy.

LOVE IT! ;)
At first I used little nubs and my horse didn't seem to respond much to them, but after I got the tomb thumb spurs they seemed to do the trick. It doesn't jab him and gets the job done at the same time, plus they look great! :)

Great Value at a Reasonable Price
Very classy looking for a very reasonable price. Really liked the personalized engraving. Nice spur for a beginer/advanced beginer rider. Effective but not scary.

Nice spurs
These spurs are really great for my TB. They give him a nice little reminder to pay attention to my outside leg! The fit is great too; I wear my paddock boots and half chaps a lot and they fit nicely under my half chaps.
