Quality, not Quantity
As is everything from ThinLine, these are high-quality, precision cut to fit the ThinLine pads. They require quite an effort to get them in place within the pad, but once they are in, they are not going to move. They are also quite thin, to the point of being almost inconsequential. If you need a noticable lift, you may want to seach for other alternatives or purchase two sets of these, though getting one set into the pocket is quite a task, getting two sets in may require a Herculean effort.

I bought these inserts in size Medium to use in my Equine Comfort Products Comfort Fleece Correction Pad for additional lift in the front and they turned out to be perfect. They fit without needing to be trimmed and they are far more durable, effective and easy to insert and remove than the Equine Comfort Products brand inserts.

Thinline is the best!
Have had our Thinline half pad for over a year and love it. I bought these shims to adda little extra padding for our new thoroghbred.

My trainer recommended the ThinLine for my second shimmable pad. I ordered the Trifecta pad without sheepskin so it's easier to wash. The new ThinLine Shims are awesome -- way better quality that the ECP shims.

Handy
These fit right into my ThinLine half pad when we need a little extra to improve saddle fit. Great product.

Tight fit- but does the job
I bought these shims to go with the Trifecta half pad. I ride in both a dressage saddle and a close contact hunter/jumper saddle. I am shopping for new saddles, but my saddle fitter suggested a half pad with shims for the dressage saddle and the same half pad without shims for the hunter/jumper saddle.
Unfortunately, it's very difficult to get the shims in and out of the pad without damaging either the pad or the shims. They do seem to do the job and balance my dressage saddle, but it's a pain to take them out.
