As horses sweat, they lose not only water but also vital electrolytes. Using the same formula in Summer Games electrolyte powder, Summer Games Plus replaces key electrolytes and contains buffering agents that support a normal gastric environment. Summer Games Plus is packaged in an easy-to-use syringe so administration is fast and accurate!

Good Product at Shows or Other Times of Stress I have used this product during shipping and at shows when my horses need a boost of electrolytes or an incentive to begin drinking. I prefer to use a daily electrolyte, but if you don't like that plan, this is a good alternative. April 9, 2013
Good paste for a sweaty horse. I was looking for an electrolyte paste to give my horse when he got sweaty. The label says to give an entire tube, but I only give 1/2 of one unless Zeb is drenched. It is recommended by Horse Journal, so I decided to give it a try. Zeb usually sweats very very little and isn't a big drinker but seems to drink a little more when I give him this. I just follow Horse Journal's recommended dose of electrolytes per hour of work to make sure Zeb is hydrated, and use this product because so few others are up to par when it comes to correct balances of minerals.
