Good Bit, Tiny Rings
I really love everything about this bit, except the fact that the rings are itty bitty.
This would make an excellent option for ponies or small horses. The rings are too small to look normal on a large horse.

My Horse loves this Bit
My horse loves this bit. Its the perfect thickness not a fat mouth full and not to thin that its harsh. She only likes a link type bit and the link in this bit isnt big and bulky making my horse happy and comfortable. The copper makes a nice wet mouth too what we all look for chewing and foam! Perfect

Just the right bit
This bit is a nicely made bit, and it's very nice that it comes in 5 1/4, which is just the right size for my mare with a small mouth. I needed to get her a thinner bit that would allow her to salivate more than her chunky eggbutt, and still be a French link, and after the first ride I noticed a huge improvement in her salivation. I don't know if it was the copper link or because it was much more thin, but it works! I really like this bit, it's just perfect!
Another nice thing is that the size is labeled on the bit! And thank you SmartPak for specifying the thickness on the website so I wouldn't have to keep guesstimating online!

good bit at a great price
My horse really loves this bit. He is a 21yo Arab gelding that I use for light dressage/pleasure riding. He stretches nicely into the bit, chews it gently and doesn't want to spit it out when I am unbridling him. I have always liked Stubben bits and this one lived up to my expectations.

Good for sensitive horses
My horse has a somewhat large tongue and is very sensitive about her mouth. I like this bit compared to some other double jointed bits I have looked at because it is thinner than most. I know in general thicker bits are supposed to be "softer" than thinner ones, but because of her thick tongue, my horse really does not like thick bits at all. This one seems to be thin enough that she doesn't resent it too much without being too thin and thus more harsh. It feels solid and well constructed.
