SmartPak's Warranty Makes it Worthwhile
This is the second SmartPak Ultimate blanket I have been through for my Hanoverian/TB mare. She gets lots of turnout with several other horses and they do rough house a bit - combine that with a tomboyish mare and you can say she is pretty hard on her blankets! I got this blanket immediately for her when SmartPak first released this blanket and announced the warranty.
The fit is really nice and all the straps and clasps are quality. My other horses are in Rambos, Weatherbeetas, etc. and I can say the quality of this blanket is right up there with the others. I am however not a big fan of the mesh lining but it is just a small irritant. Overall it looks really sharp on her.
When she developed a tear 3 months into use, I called SmartPak and they immediately sent me a replacement one overnight (including the personalization). While her second blanket is starting to develop another little tear that I am keeping an eye on, it gives me peace of mind knowing that SmartPak will back what they say!
I only wish SmartPak would make this blanket in other colors - I would swap my other 3 horses' blankets out because SmartPak's customer service makes it worth it!

Foolproof!!!!
After my horse shoved her leg through one turnout after 3 months and another one after 2 days I bought this! It is indestructible! Well worth the price and beautifully made all the way down to the hardware.

Mud-roller!
So far so good! My OTTB loves to roll; snow, mud, dust, you name it! This blanket has withstood his antics so far. This blanket is well worth the money and knowing that is backed by SmartPak, you can't go wrong!

I love this turnout. I decided to purchase this item because it has such a great warranty. Fits my horse perfectly.

Great Blanket, Fabulous warranty
This is a replacement blanket for one my horse destroyed. I called Smartpak up to let them know I needed to exercise the warranty, and their fabulous customer service put the return in play ASAP. The blanket is a very quality blanket. I really like the front closure, very adjustable and easy to snap. I also really like the way the surcingles are sewn with a small loop at the top closure, to assist in the prevention of the blanket coming undone. The leg straps are very quality elastic, not the cheap ones that stretch and become useless after 3 months of use. This blanket is being used on a horse with very beefy shoulders, and there could be a touch more room as the fit is a little snug. I also wish it came in a ring and 2 point snap closure for those horses that dont do well with the double straight across closure in the front like this one has. Overall, this is a quality blanket, and the warranty that comes with it, will definitely make me think of purchasing this blanket over competitive blankets when I need another one.

Sadly Disappointed
Unfortunately, the blanket ripped after only 2-3 weeks.
