SmartLytes® Pellets

SmartSupplements by SmartPak

Our Price: $13.95 - $101.95
Form: Pellets
Maintenance Dose: 2 SmartPak Wells

Dehydration in horses has serious consequences. In order to keep your horse properly hydrated and performing his best, it is essential to supplement his diet with salt. Neither hay, pasture nor fortified grain contain enough salt (Sodium Chloride) to meet your horse’s needs, and not all horses can get their requirements from a salt block alone. Feeding a well-balanced electrolyte supplement like SmartLytes Pellets can supply the Sodium Chloride your horse needs, in addition to the other electrolyte minerals that are lost in sweat - Potassium, Calcium and Magnesium. Supplying these electrolytes will also encourage your horse to drink more water, rebalancing his fluids and helping to ensure proper digestion of feeds.

SmartLytes Pellets are carefully formulated to mimic the mineral losses in equine sweat. This formula also includes Trimethylglycine to help cells maintain normal fluid levels. These tasty apple-banana flavored pellets are sugar free and an excellent choice for even the pickiest eater!

Excellent product My horse has had electrolytes for years, but recently had stopped eating the powder forms. With the pellets there is no waste, and it's nice to know he's getting what he needs again. Thanks SmartPak for making a pelleted electrolyte that my horse loves! May 21, 2013
Fantastic! Just an update. After a month of using the Smart Lytes Pellets my mare is drinking regularly and is digesting her feed much better. Thank you SmartPak for making an electrolyte in pellet form!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My mare eats the pellets up like a treat! ;) April 5, 2013
Smart Lytes and My Horse My horse did not care for this product, first time I have any of my horses refuse to eat smart pack product I have since changed the package and she is eating the new pellets. March 23, 2013
Great product My horse would not eat the regular electroliytes because they always sifted through his feed and then were neglected. I switched to the pelleted variety and have no problem whatsoever. March 14, 2013
He loves the flavor! I give Shamahr his SmartLytes as a treat. He loves them and, well, so do his pasture mates. Yes, we have to share these. I think they are drinking more water than him though and I will probably go with the Cherry flavored next time if you still have them. March 7, 2013
great product reasonable price I love this product. Even my picky picky eat will eat it. March 4, 2013
