No Change
My horse is generally a good drinker, in the field. We can be at a show all day and he'll hardly drink, even when I bring our own water; he'll wait until we get home to drink from the trough. He doesn't drink from his stall buckets either. He loves his salt lick so he's not deficient, was just hoping this would persuade him to drink elsewhere. No such luck. Though it does smell wonderful and he licks the bowl clean.

Would be Great if he Would Eat it
I trust all of the smartpak supplement brands, and I have had much success with them! However, my Not-so-picky guy refuses to eat this stuff. It smells great, but he really does eat anything and everything just not this! :( With summer around the corner along with the Texas heat, I'll just have to try an alternative. I'm disappointed but i will continue to us SmartPak's SmartFlex Rehab, SmartTendon, and SmartDigest.

Great product
I bought this in the tub so that I could use it when my horse is worked hard and not have to feed it every day. He definitely drinks a lot more water, that's for sure. So, I would say it is a good investment to make sure my guy is well hydrated and has all his electrolytes. It smells tasty and my horse likes it, but he's not particularly picky.

Fantastic Product
My 3-Day horse refused to eat his bucket when I added electrolyte powder I bought from my local feed store. I tried two different products and no luck. I switched to this product after a recommendation from a friend - success! My gelding licked his bucket clean. Now I can relax and know he is getting what he needs to do his job on the XC course! Thanks Smartpak!

Moderately Picky Eater Did NOT Eat It
My boy picked at his food the first few days I tried this and then started turning his nose up completely. I'm sure it's a great product, just can't get my boy to eat it even after trying all the tricks.

Horse is not a fan
I purchased these since we moved from a boarding facility that added electrolytes in their food, to a place that didn't have any added electrolytes in their food or water. I was really excited about the value, and I thought the pellets would be easy-peasy since my horse eats pretty much everything. The first day he ate them no problem, mixed with a little bit of feed. That was the last time I could get him to eat them. I've tried mixing with food, hand feeding, moistening them, and adding jello mix as flavouring, but he does not care for them. I can sometimes get him to eat a little bit if I bury them in enough food, but I don't want to feed him that much extra since he gets 2 feeds other than the supplements.
