Spectacular Bridle I have to say that I first saw this bridle in the catalog and thought it was okay but then I saw it at the store and it was AMAZING. I couldn't pass it up. Aside from the initial beauty of the crystals - the bridle is extraordinarily well made. It does not pinch around the ears whatsoever because of the way the brow band is designed. The padding on the top of the head is amazing and while it looks like it may be bulky - once it's on it totally isn't. I have a very sensitive horse and he went wonderfully in this bridle. A few of the girls at the barn may be picking this up now because it is just amazing. Pictures do NOT do this bridle any justice at all. Honestly - if they had them in more colors I would buy them in a heartbeat. I also loved that it came with leather reins that have a rubber underside for grip - my OS bridle doesn't even compare to this in my opinion and was more expensive. Phenomenal buy. - As a side note I own a fairly fine boned TB and it fits him wonderfully and would also fit a warmblood nicely as well due to the many adjustable features of this bridle. Pictures Don't do Justice With generous padding in all the right spots for my delicate gelding, and a flattering cut for his large frame, this is truly the finest bridle I have ever seen. As a true black, I wanted something of expert and subtle craftsmanship, and without too much glitz so as not to overshadow a stark black horse. And boy, is this a beaut. The double-row gunmetal Swarovski brow band, (and they are the large Swarovski round crystals,) is just perfect without being over the top. I'd say the first thing people notice is the deluxe workmanship and attention to quality, and then they are wowed by the subtle bling. As contrary as this might sound: it is conservative but also fancy in the simple and subdued glints of muted gunmetal one will catch when the horse is working on the bit, but not be distracted from the "whole working picture" as with perhaps blinking white crystal in direct sun. The finishing perfection are the gunmetal accents. They aren't gold, or even plain silver buckles; they're actual gunmetal in color. I highly recommend this for those of us more conservative, (or with a darker horse,) who can't help falling to a little bit of fine luxury... November 22, 2012

To Clip or Not to Clip I've heard that body clipping in the spring is "too late" because you're clipping over the newly growing in coat... What do you think? What's the best body clipping schedule? - Jessica N., Charlotte, VT
