Roeckl Cross Country Gloves 4.1 5 19 19
Spider Man Gloves I've only had these gloves a short time, but put them to the test last weekend. I wore them for a Combined Test schooling show...the grip is nice for the jumping, but they don't "stick" so I was able to adjust my reins easily during the dressage. Later I schooled out on the cross-country course...they were perfect! Just the right combination of grippy and flexible! They do look a bit like Spider Man Hands... January 22, 2013
Disappointed I was disappointed in these since I have heard so many good things about Roeckl. Bought these gloves about 8 months ago, within a day of wearing them the grip started coming off of the palms. Now they are just basic gloves with grip only on the places that I don't use! I still use them for everyday rides, but if I didn't have rubber reins I would have thrown them away because they don't grip laced/webbed reins well at all. Definitely buying a new pair of gloves before next show season when I actually need to go cross country. January 3, 2013
Love these gloves! I just love these gloves so far. I have had them about 10 days, so I can't speak to longevity, but they seem durable so far. I just love the "tackiness" of them, it really helps keep my grip, both in my dressage training and jump lessons. I'm an amateur rider and everything that helps me is a welcome find. I will be getting more of them! October 22, 2012
Good but not as good as they used to be Have had these gloves for over 7 years and this new pair is definitely a drop down in quality, they feel Lighter and the co tour bobbles are already starting to wear after one month of use. Having said that, they are the same price they always were so I suppose they represent good value. August 28, 2012
grippy I finally got to use them in the rain. They are fabulous. Reins didn't slip at all. July 17, 2012
Great gloves My daughter has used these gloves for years as they do not slip if she is riding/competing in the rain. Other gloves, either don't hold up well or they slip on the reins in the rain. It does seem like they have changed what the grip is made out of, and isn't holding up quite as well as previous pairs, but she does love the gloves and doesn't want any other. June 4, 2012

To Clip or Not to Clip I've heard that body clipping in the spring is "too late" because you're clipping over the newly growing in coat... What do you think? What's the best body clipping schedule? - Jessica N., Charlotte, VT
