Quic Shade Sun Protection 4 5 5 5
Did not help as sunscreen I think the sunscreen rating is too low as my horses nose still burned. August 20, 2012
Effective and pleasant to use. I love QuicShade. It smells nice and my horse likes to have it rubbed on her pink nose. I suspect it feels very soothing, because when she has a little sunburn she still likes it. July 25, 2011
awesome! we have a horse with "delicate" skin! (he's a "redhead" & his muzzle burns in the summertime. This is a great product which allows him to be out where he prefers to be in the pasture with his buddies, instead of going to night turn out to avoid the texas heat & sun! will have lots ready to go next year, for sure! another great product from Smartpak thanks :) September 13, 2010
Great product for good protection This is a great sunscreen that rubs in very well and seems to have a soothing effect on already damaged areas. The bottle is so small that it would require several purchases to last all summer long and it likely needs to be reapplied throughout the day so he gets zinc oxide on top of it to prevent wash off during drinking. The product does not stink therefore putting it on around the nostrils is not an issue as with some other products. July 12, 2010
I have a chestnut with a large white blaze on his face that is turned out on pasture 12 hours a day. The poor guy always has a pink nose that is a little inflamed and sometimes even flaky. I've been trying different human sunscreens and sunblocks all summer and they just don't stay on very long. I like the different formulation of this product (it's greasy but rubs in well) as well as the smell (baby oil) but wish it came in a higher SPF and a larger bottle size. With the size of my horse's white markings and the time he spends outside, I need a more potent product and lots of it! September 1, 2009
