Great girth!!!!
I love this girth. Mine is over three years old and it still looks new. I bought mine from a local tack shop for $100 new and it is crazy that it sells here for $240. It is worth the money though, I would buy it again no problem. The elastic is fine if you wipe it off with a damp sponge after each ride. The fit of the girth fits well and the billet keepers work perfectly. My horse wears a 52" long girth and a 24" in this girth so you know sizes.

Love it!
Definitely not a "Skipper", the elastic does touch the horses belly, but it doesn't pinch in any way! Love this girth to pieces!! Fits like a glove, stretchy in all the right places, nice contour to allow freer movement! Bought it for my (girthy, round) dutch warmblood (size 26"). He's much less girthy now, but I don't attribute that to the girth, just slower girthing, but who knows, maybe! Worth the price, very nice leather and craftsmanship.

not worth the $$
I splurged on this girth to complememnt my new Prestige saddle and was really disappointed. The quality and workmanship was fabulous but the design did not make sense to me. There is a gap in the leather backing on this girth so that webbing is against the horse's belly (this is not obvious from the picture). I could not imagine how it could possibly be kept clean and ws very worried about the long-term durability of the girth as a result of sweat soaking this webbing. Definitely a skipper.

great alt. to schumacher
These are a great alternative to Otto Schumacher girths. I have two brown 32 and black 34 and I love the elastic, close keepers, and streamlined appearance.
