We'll happily take back everything from engraved halters to personalized jackets - even embroidered blankets that have been worn (minus the manure, please). I like the convenience of using powdered bute. I know my horse gets the correct dose each day, and it is easily fed along with his evening meal. The flavor options makes it palatable for picky eaters. Easier and less expensive than bute paste. February 11, 2013

Old Horse Lifesaver I give a gram of bute a day to my 30-something year old mare to help with arthritis in her knee. I just break the tablet up into a couple pieces, squirt some Ration Plus over them, and she gobbles it up with her grain. Very economical choice for an older horse. January 18, 2013

best purchase ever My horse, who is a picky eater, loves his peppermint flavored bute!! Before hearing/trying this flavor, he had the citrus flavored bute. That didn't go over well. The ONLY thing I could mix it with to get him to eat it was old fashioned grandma's molasses. What a STICKY mess to deal with on a daily basis! Another First Aid Kit Item My organized trailering gear includes a first aid kit with bute. Two years ago my horse turned up lame the morning of a dressage test after trailering in the night before.
