Can be a little tricky at first, but so nice to be able to ride multiple horses in one saddle!

have patience, young grasshopper
several things first:
1. use a screwdriver and not your car key. car key works but.. screwdriver is more efficient.
2. i am horrible at putting stuff together. i bring it home, make the dh put it together.
3. it will get easier with practice.
i ride several different shaped horses and look, even in a good economy most of us don't have the cash to buy a bunch of saddles to fit different horses. 20 odd bucks to make a custom fit? i'm sold!
being too lazy to get my screwdriver i opted to use my truck key. it got the job done with minimal swearing (my horse was highly amused by watching me kill his saddle). i pop the tree out (ooh, my tree is narrow? hmm i think i know my next sp purchase!) and work on getting the wide tree to fit in. and i stink at lining up the screws so maximum swearing is reached with many people wondering what in funk and wagnalls is she doing to that saddle? before success is at hand. it worked! i got happy ponies and have provided worthwhile entertainment for the people i board with! success! in all honesty though, i do believe that the genesis system is a little bit more user friendly so if you're buying a new saddle that you can adjust i'd look at the m. toulouse first.

A little challenging to swap
I own a wintec for hacking and knew that I wanted the adjustable gullet in my new saddle. I think the wintec was easier to swap the plates, but I would definitely recommend the system.

Very Easy to Change
The instructions were pretty straight forward. Had the new gullet installed in minutes.

So Easy to Change
Our Selle Francais has filled out a bit through the shoulders over the last six months and we found that our Pessoa was fitting just a hair tight. With the x-change system you can just change the gullet instead of buying shims, risers, pads or other fixes. For $25 you get a custom fit.
