Pergolide 4.8 5 77 93
Great Product My vet recommended this product and specifically told me to get it through Smart Pak! I called the company and they walked me through the monthly procedure to have this delivered. My horse is very picky and I was worried he'd leave it in his bucket. He doesn't leave any behind and has shown great improvement. It is costly, but well worth it! May 17, 2013
Difficult beginning My horse had no problem eating this, but I began with the prescribed dose and he stopped eating within two days. I stopped it for a few days and began with a small fraction and built up gradually. This worked much better. He is currently struggling with what I hope is only the Pergolide Fog I had heard about. pergolide Great product, soooo expensive. Pony shed out satisfactorily after dose increase from 0.5gms. to 1.5gms. Lab work to determine dosage needed is not cheap either! October 7, 2012
LIKE HAVING MEASURED DOSES Having measured quantities saves time in the tack room. it also takes the guess work out of dosages on a daily basis... having individual doses is definitely more sanitized than dipping a scoop into medication over and over, risking contamination. the only down side to the packets is the consistency of the pergolide from the product i receive from rom my vet, which is denser. the packeted pergolide is finer and more of a lite powder that "poofs" out when the top is pulled back. I add flax seed to the mixture to try & give it substance to keep it on top of the supplements & prevent the powder from dropping to the bottom of the feed bucket. I would prefer a more dense prowder that holds on to the pellets to ensure it is consumed and not blown out of the bucket. August 21, 2012
SmartPak Pergolide I love the convenience and now I don't get my fingers in it! The price is right and I con't forget to put it in his food! Thank you SmartPak! August 2, 2012
Pergolide is Great, slow to consume. The horse I bought was already on pergolide so I just kept her on it, she eats it but not very fast, so I wish there would be an easier way for me to give it to her, being I am always on the run! Otherwise I love it it really helps with her condition! May 15, 2012
