AMAZING PRODUCT!
If you are considering buying this curry comb but are on a very tight budget... dont. there are TONS of knock offs that are cheaper and have pretty much the same use, of course none can really compare to the original OSTER :) my Canadian, Erebus, has an EXTREMELY thick mane, tail, and coat, in order to keep it looking shiny, healthy and well groomed i use nearly all Oster products, all of them are stunning, this curry in particular is the one i use the most out of the two, fine and coarse, because, as I said before, my horse's coat is super thick, it is amazing during shedding season and when he has splotches of mud, but my fave thing to use for mud is a plastic curry, they work like a charm ;) have fun with your purchase.

It's OK
I prefer the coarse curry comb w/o the handle, because the handle makes it harder for me to rub.

Oster Curry Comb
The curry worked very well on my shedding, dirty horse. I have arthritis in my hands and I ordered this particular one thinking that the handle would slip inbetween my thumb & forefinger allowing me to brush withoug gripping the handle or brush. However there is not enough room to get my hand comfortably under the handle. I guess the handle is meant to be grabbed.

Great Curry Comb
This is a wonderful curry comb, it works well on the barn horses, but it is too harsh for my sensitive TB. I have tried it on her multiple times, however even after using it lightly she still got irritated.

great for thick coats!
We have two very hairy fillies that are still struggling to shed out. This curry has done a wonderful job in helping us groom them. The curry is well made and seems durable in the short amount of time we have had it. The girls seem to really like it!

Amazing for shedding!
This is the mac-daddy of curry combs! I couldn't believe how well it worked. It really gets deep down to the skin and brings up all the dirt to the surface. I will say I have to keep it on the meaty parts of my thin-skinned thoroughbred mare so she doesn't get annoyed, but I am so glad I purchased this product. The BEST part of all if how well it works for shedding! I must admit, I assumed it wouldn't do much because the bristles are so far apart, but I was very wrong. This brush has gotten rid of chunks of hair that my other brushes never could. It's not a matter of how much hair can be lost now- it's a matter of how much time do I have to do the work!
