Made with ENRECO® Stabilized, Ground, Fortified Flax. Studies have proven that the lack of Omega-3 can cause grass founder, jumpiness and fidgeting, and poor sperm count. Omega Horseshine® is a powerful, bountiful source of stabilized Omega-3! Omega Horseshine® is a nutritious alternative for psyllium husks to prevent sand colic. If your horses were on pasture with all natural grasses and plants of your region, they would naturally be supplementing their diet with Omega-3. Since this isn’t always possible or recommended, your horse needs you to supplement his diet with Omega Horseshine®! Better than the competition: ENRECO® Premium, Human-Grade, Non-GMO, 99.9% Pure, Stabilized, Ground, Fortified Flax is better because we utilize proprietary stabilization technology developed by for a specific stable variety containing more Omega-3. We use our own patented stabilization developed by ENRECO® that provides a stable, fortified flaxseed composition as a rich safe source of Omega-3 in the diet. Our Stabilized Ground Fortified Flax is fortified with Vitamin B-6 and Zinc, two nutrients required when flax is being metabolized by your horse’s body. Instructions

Feeding Directions: Feed 1/2 to 1 standard measuring cup daily, top dressed over feed for 1,000 lb to 1,200 lb horse (adjust amount proportionately up or down per weight of horse; i.e. 1/4 to 1/2 cup for 500 lb to 700 lb horse and 3/4 to 1 1/2 cup for a 1700 lb to 2000 lb horse). Start gradually to suggested minimum daily serving of 1/2 cup: 1/8 cup on first and second days, 1/4 cup on third and fourth days and then 1/2 cup on fifth day. Thereafter, increase as desired. Short term upload amount is 1 cup to 3 cups daily for 1000 lb to 1200 lb horse (adjust upload amount proportionately up or down per weight of horse).

SmartPak has received permission from the manufacturer to administer 2 ounces daily for our customers who choose to add this supplement to their SmartPaks.

Precautions

Best if stored in a cool, dry place. ENRECO’s Heat Stabilization process gives Omega Horseshine® a twelve-month shelf life at room temperature (74 degrees or less) with no signs of rancidity or loss of nutritional value.
