Great Buy!
Absolutely ADORE this bit. Recommended by my trainer for my green broke horse who I started with a full cheek snaffle. We both much prefer this and I am so pleased!! I have since started riding lots of horses in this bit and it is really holding up nicely! Only slightly annoying thing is that grass gets really easily stuck in between the ring and the rubber which can be annoying to clean. Overall, a great buy and well worth the money!! This bit will last you forever!

My sensitive horse LOVES this bit!
I'll never go back to a hard bit. I've had my Nathe for about a year and a half now. It doesn't get many bite marks when I have it adjusted correctly. When I had it up too high it was a problem. My sensitive mare willingly moves up into the contact with this bit, which she had a hard time doing with harder mouthpieces, including a Happy Mouth. It's ready to be replaced now, but what can you expect for a soft rubber bit? I'm going to buy another one, and when that needs replacing, I'll buy another one, and so on. :)
I also emailed USEF because I want to start showing in Dressage. I was told that this bit IS Dressage legal, up through the 4th level. It is only illegal above 4th level.

good product
I bought this bit for my mare who likes to suck back behind the bit at times. She has a sensitive mouth and does not like jointed bits. I normally ride her in a mullen mouth with a port for tongue relief. Since this is not dressage legal, I was happy to find a mullen mouth bit that has slight tongue relief and is legal for showing. Overall, I am happy with this product.

Nathe
while this bit is very well made it is easy for the horse to bite through the soft rubber. this bit is expensive to have to replace often. but the horse goes well in it and it has become our bit of choice

Pick Nathe over Happy Mouth!
Nathe bits are considerably better quality than Happy Mouth. They do not break down or fall victim to biting or chewing. They will last you for years.
These bits are perfect for finished horses, soft-mouthed horses and horses that curl or hide behind the bit.
These are worth the extra $$$

What a difference!
Great solution for a horse with a sensitive mouth. He rides relaxed and responsive.
