Gentle Leverage I am a fan of Myler bits! My quarter horse has such a wide face that I have trouble fitting him with a bit that has any type of purchase as it pinches his cheek bones. The folks at Myler wisely curved the top pieces away from the horses face. I am limited with how high the bit fits in his mouth but at least this one works. I will say though that both horses I used it on pushed right through it at first. It is not as harsh as a Tom Thumb so it takes a little practice to get the same results. My QH finally relaxed rather than bracing before any correction. September 19, 2012
