Product Description
As with all supplements in SmartPaks, Missing Link and Missing Link Plus are packaged fresh and do not require refrigeration in order to be effective for your horse. SmartPak worked with Designing Health, the manufacturer of Missing Link products, to conduct lab testing to ensure that Missing Link products would stay fresh in SmartPaks. SmartPaks containing these products should be stored in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight and used within 30 days of receipt. If purchased in bags, the manufacturer recommends that Missing Link products be refrigerated after opening to achieve maximum results. Missing Link Plus Equine Formula with Joint Support. The Missing Link, the original all-in-one SuperFood Supplement, is now available with added Glucosamine. Our new PLUS formula combines the benefits of Glucosamine with naturally occuring essential fatty acids to provide superior joint support. This formula also supports a spit 'n shine coat and balanced energy levels, and includes fiber for bowel health, and for maintaining normal digestion, plus naturally occurring phytonutrients, vitamins and minerals important for overall health and well-being. The Missing Link is formulated with food, not synthetics, eliminating the risk of over supplementation. The Missing Link targets the nutritional gap between what nature provides and what's available in commercial foods. Free of fillers, preservatives, and artificial colorings or flavorings. A natural dietary supplement made of whole food and food concentrates with Glucosamine. Helps to promote cartilage regeneration and mobile joint function. A good source of soluble and insoluble fiber as well as essential fatty acids (omega-3, 6 and 9). The essential fatty acids along with other nutrients in our supplement are important for absorption of fat soluble vitamins, and for intercellular health; therefore they help to promote a healthy digestive system, increase energy and strongly support the general immune system. Glucosamine is a naturally occuring substance found in cartilage that stimulates production of collagen, the protein that helps hold jionts together. It can help build joint cartilage, as well as help joint mobility and joint range of motion. The Missing Link Plus combines Glucosamine with essential fatty acids to provide the ultimate in joint support. We use only the finest, high purity grade of Glucosamine Hydrochloride.

We respect and value the importance of your veterinarian as the primary professional
in your
horse’s management. Supplements are no substitute for
regular veterinary care. Symptoms such as weight loss, diarrhea, sudden change in
behavior, etc. may be signs of a broader issue, so if you have concerns about your
horse’s health, we highly recommend you consult your
veterinarian first. Many veterinarians use our Product Specialists as a resource
in the care of their own animals, and to help them construct optimal supplement
programs for their clients. We welcome calls from your veterinarian, trainer or
farrier.
