Medallion Liftback Fleece Pad 4 5 8 11
Great for shows I was dreading having to show my horse in an unsightly lollipop pad, so I was really excited to find this pad. It fit's my saddle perfectly and gives just enough lift without looking bulky or messy. March 26, 2013
Great for a low-backed horse I was initially a little concerned by some of the other reviews with regard to fit, but decided to try it anyway. I feel this pad does an excellent job in the show ring to level the saddle on a low-backed horse. While the foam doesn't go all the way to the edge (as pointed out previously), it came close enough that I didn't have a problem with the edge sitting under the panels of the saddle. The size 18 fit my 18" saddle nicely. I think this pad is great for a horse requiring a little lift under the saddle. And in the show ring you can't tell it's a lift back. March 19, 2012
Fit not the best The pad itself is adequate size although i prefer a slightly larger fit but the insert sits way to much to the interior causing a ridge under the panels of the cantle. September 5, 2011
Just what we needed My daughter's saddle didn't fit her pony very well. This pad is just what we needed without layering two or three pads, which is so unsightly! This pad is excellent quality, washes and drys well. May 4, 2010
Nice Pad and Great Price I have had this pad for a few months now and have used it as a showpad for the indoor season. I love the foam pad inside it molds to the shape of my horses back and I really feel it helps keep his back comfy for our classes. He's pretty hard to fit but he shows no signs of back discomfort after using this pad with my saddle. It's easy to clean too so that's a bonus. January 29, 2010
could be a better product Normally, I am a fan of the Medallion pads. I found this one a dissapointment. The riser portion/lift back does not come out to the edge of the pad far enough. This results in shifting of the pad under the saddle and does not offer the desired result as there is not enough "lift" under the saddle. May 13, 2009

To Clip or Not to Clip I've heard that body clipping in the spring is "too late" because you're clipping over the newly growing in coat... What do you think? What's the best body clipping schedule? - Jessica N., Charlotte, VT
