This is a very nice pad. I ordered a 17 and it fit my 17 Butet perfectly. Looks great in the show ring. No slipping and not too bulky under your leg. These hold up well in the wash.

Worth the money
I have a sensitive horse. After multiple saddle fittings I knew the saddle fit perfectly, but he still had old sore spots on either side of his withers that were being chaffed by his regular pad. I broke down and tried this because the thin line pad made his back super sweaty, and still seemed to rub him. Its pretty spectatular. His back is now healing. Even with long fox hunts it doesn't rub or disturb the healing and he is less sensitive when I take it off. It looks good and fits my presitge Boston nicely. Its worth the money.

BEST show pad
I have a 16.5 Devoucoux Biarritz saddle. The flaps and seat are wider than your average cc saddle, but the Mattes hunter pad in size 16.5 fit my saddle very nicely, and looked fabulous in the show ring. It washes well. I loved my free sample of Melp that came with this pad! I wash on maximum water and dry it on the lowest setting(not hot at all, just a tad warmer than room temp). Melp seemed to do the best job of cleaning and fluffing(I also tried using pepede wash. I was very hesitant in purchasing a sheepskin pad, but after others raved about how durable/old/lasting their mattes pad was, I was sold. This pad is my favorite and the horse loves it as well. It's great for a long day of showing, as the sheepskin naturally controls heat. I believe that this saddle pad will last a very long time because of its superior quality and washability(I'm not afraid to wash it! Even after a previous bad experience with another brand of sheepskin pad).

Most Luxirous Pad on the market!
This saddle pad by mattes is may I say the most luxurious pad out their! its almost to good for the A shows! I don't even want to use it (But I Do) I wish smart pack had a monogramming service available because someone will steal this pad if you aren't careful. Fits my 17.5 corbette arosa MAGNIFICENTLY. If you not only want to ride your best but look your best this is the pad for you ( It comes with a melp sample!) EEEE so if you don't want to spend 10 bucks for the full size melp you can try it out, oh and a comb works wonders if you are too lazy to wash after each show (like meee) just take a fingertip of melp on a damp (but dry cloth) and gently pat DON'T RUB to clean! BEAUTIMOUS PAD wont get-use-recommend anything else!

Beautiful Saddle Pad
I currently ride in a Heythrop saddle and this pad fits perfectly. Ordering a pad based on your saddle size is an excellent idea. The quality of the pad is very nice. Its expensive but worth it.

Great Pad!
I have an Antares with really forward flaps and I've had the hardest time finding a sheepskin pad that fit. I received this pad recently for my birthday and it fits my saddle perfectly! The sheepskin is super soft and the quality seems great. The only thing I dislike is the price, which I would never spend on my own for a pad. I can't wait to show in it!
