Magnetic Bell Boots 4.5 5 9 10
Good Product Recently purchased because my gelding was recently diagnosed with the onset of ringbone. I've used some other magnetic products on the canon bone with definite success reducing the size of a splint. I've started applying the bell boots before I ride while tacking up. Compared to the days I don't apply them beforehand, my horse in not stiff or sore in the foot making him unsound when I do use the bell boots. I am tentatively optimistic these boots are making a real difference. They fit reasonably well on my almost 17.2 guy. If you have a large horse you need not be concerned about fit. I wish they could make these bell boots in something you could work your horse in. April 1, 2013
Saw no change My horse has pain in his front R foot. The vet said it might be early signs of navicular. He has been wearing these magnetic boots for 3 or 4 weeks now. I see no improvement in his foot pain. I don't think it matters how they sit on the hoof. They are well made and fit nicely, but do twirl around. There is a soft material inside, and they hose off fairly clean. There are only three little magnets inside about the size of a dime. Maybe that is not enough for my horse. November 19, 2011
Great for stall time Putting these on my horse while she has to be stalled and cant move around helps her come out ready to ride. Normaly after she is stalled she has to tip toe around untill she gets warmed up good, now she steps right on out and is ready to go to work. Also seems to be less bothered by arena footing that she normaly would be picky about. If i forget to put them on we can tell it! November 3, 2011
A Nice Surprise These bell boots are surprisingly sturdy. Like another reviewer said, they won't stand up to turnout, but mine have been good with stalls and a bit of gentle riding. Fit is a little odd if you have a horse with less than perfect feet (mine has a club foot). But, overall, very impressed. August 17, 2011
Magnetic Bell Boots Super quality, easy to put on. Seems to have helped with ankle, inner hoof soreness. January 4, 2011
Had to give them a try My AQHA mare has feet that grow toe only. After doing research about magnets (I use them for my wrist) I ordered a set for the front feet. HOPEFULLY I will notice a difference. Time will tell and its early to say. My shoer thought this is a great idea. Will write more about the effects. Also they fit nicely and are very comfortable for Slippers to wear. Easy on and off too. To Clip or Not to Clip I've heard that body clipping in the spring is "too late" because you're clipping over the newly growing in coat... What do you think? What's the best body clipping schedule? - Jessica N., Charlotte, VT
