M. Toulouse Marielle +4 Monoflap Saddle 4.3 5 3 4
comfy, but didn't fit This saddle was very comfortable, but bridged on my horse. Not only that, but I thought part of the reason for the monoflap was to have the girth straps run under the flap and spread the pressure... the girth on this saddle just connects to the end of the flap. Hmmm.. I do have another toulouse on order, though. I think they otherwise make great saddles! May 10, 2012
Great saddle so far I purchased this saddle for my 15 year old daughter. She's 5 ft 5 in tall, but has a long femur, so was thrilled to be able to get the forward flap model. The saddle is really pretty to look at - the leather has a nice color and texture, and the overall design is great. It really puts her in a great position on her horse (15 hh TB/QH/Mustang/Perch mix). It is much easier for her to stay balanced and out of the saddle in galloping and jumping positions (she was formerly in a Circuit jumping saddle). We got the 24" girth with it which fits, but next time will get a 22" (it's hard to find a brown girth for a monoflap!). Only remaining question is long term durability. March 27, 2012
love it!!! I love this saddle! When I first got this saddle i Hated it, but once i stoped fighting the saddle with my bad posture i loved it! the saddle gently reminds your body to put your heal, hip and shoulders in line with eachother but dose not put you so up right that you cant go in to two point. its easy to clean more than a year old and still looks brand new. This saddle fits my t/b's great! I have the Med. February 29, 2012

To Clip or Not to Clip I've heard that body clipping in the spring is "too late" because you're clipping over the newly growing in coat... What do you think? What's the best body clipping schedule? - Jessica N., Charlotte, VT
