Match the saddle
Bought a M. Toulouse saddle for my daughter and didn't know what size leathers she needed so picked up these after the fact. VERY important for her to have them match and they do. Quality seems top noth and the price was reasonable. Smart Pak pricing and service was great.

Great Leathers
These leathers are comparable to one's twice their cost. The leather is soft right out of the box. THe 1/2 hole design is great, and the flat buckle feels great under the leg. Highly recommend these!

Nice Quality for the Price
I purchased these leathers to go with my M Toulouse Legano (SmartPak--start selling these saddles, you'll make a mint!). I was prepared from other reviews that the steel portion of the stirrup leather would not be completely hidden. I didn't feel it would be a big deal--they are unnoticeable while in the saddle. The leather, while not the Paris leather that Antares boasts, is certainly worthy of respect. With one coat of Leather Therapy conditioner/restorer the leathers were slightly darkened and VERY soft. The ONLY reason these leathers don't get 5 stars is that they are supposed to be manufactured with half-holes. With holes separated by almost an inch, I'm not sure how these can be considered as such.

Easy and good looking
not much thought had to go into buying this. Nice leather, great color, well spaced holes. Got a compliment on them the first day.

Disappointed
I had a pair of Toulouse stirrup leathers in the past and they served me well for almost three years. When the nylon lining started coming through the holes it was time for a new pair so I chose Toulouse again. Within a week the leather began to look like it was "flaking" off on the inside as I would pull my stirrups down. I used the appropriate leather conditioner but these leathers won't last. Very disappointed.

a little thick, but nice quality
They weren't too hard to get on my saddle, I think that depends on your stirrup bars, but they are a bit thick under my leg. However, the leather is so soft and does not mark up my saddle, so it's worth it. A thinner stirrup with this kind of leather would stretch, but so far these have not. The only thing I do not like is that you can see the metal piece that attaches the buckle, but only when you aren't in the saddle, and it may depend on the saddle.
