Buy a better saddle I had been eyeing this saddle for a while, since it was a good price, beautiful havana color, and a close contact like I had been looking for. I ordered this saddle through the test ride program (which I love with SmartPak since they have free shipping both ways), but I was sadly underwhelmed when it arrived. The leather was stiff and cheap feeling, and the beautiful color was more reddish and looked like cheap dye. I would recommend spending the extra couple hundred dollars to get a better quality saddle. March 19, 2013
Wonderful Saddle! I was looking for a nice saddle that wasn't too expensive and this was absolutely perfect! I have had it now for almost a year and it has only gotten better with use. I feel very secure in this saddle and like the feel of the leather. It also fits my 15.2 h Thoroughbred great! With my old saddle I had to use a front riser, but this saddle fits her with just a regular pad. I would definately recommend this saddle for anyone looking for a good product on a budget. Best saddle in the price range I absolutely love my Celine! There was virtually zero break in time and my position has improved dramatically ever since I started riding in it. I use it on different horses with a wide variety of shapes and it seems to fit all of them nicely. The leather on the flaps starts out a bit stiff and "cheap" feeling, but it softens up wonderfully with olive oil...I know some say it eats through stitching, but I haven't had any issues so far. My saddle has gotten 6-10 rides/week for the past 3.5 years and it shows very little wear. It's a wonderful saddle that happens to have an affordable price tag! October 15, 2012
enjoying the ride Quite honestly, I should have bought a new saddle long ago. I had tried another brand but the seat was inadequately cushioned. This one is far better. I also like the wider channel of this one (don't know if other M Toulouse models are comparable) I have no experience with higher end saddles, but for my purposes this will work. My 16.1 Tb mare is quite athletic, so I appreciate a bit more security, which this saddle provides. Also, she seems happier with it! April 27, 2012
Too bad it didn't fit! I got this saddle through smartpaks test ride program, it looked great, felt great, but unfortunately it did not fit my high withered TB. I really liked this saddle but it just didn't fit my horse. September 28, 2011
Amazing!!!!! Love this saddle! I have had it for about a year and it still looks brand new with some saddle soap!!! I will never buy another saddle again!!!!! September 12, 2011

To Clip or Not to Clip I've heard that body clipping in the spring is "too late" because you're clipping over the newly growing in coat... What do you think? What's the best body clipping schedule? - Jessica N., Charlotte, VT
