I wouldn't recommend buying these boots, they are awkward to put on, and the Velcro tore off of the top of one of the boots after only two months of use. They did a good job of keeping the dirt and sand out, however there are other boots out there in the same price range that would be a better choice.

protective, but not dirt-proof
I was hoping for a boot that would keep my horse's legs free from sand, which still manages to work its way into the boot, but they do protect and are easy to clean.

Great Purchase
I highly recommend the Legacy boot system - front and hind boots. I use both for my horses protection. Easy to put on and take off. My horse does not mind them at all.

Really Great Boots
"For their genre, these are really awesome boots. I have both the front and hind boots and love them. I've worked in deep sand, mud, dirt and I've never had any of it get inside the boot and irritate the leg (unlike my friends' boots who rode in the same conditions). Again, while other brands would make the leg sweaty and hot, the Legacy system had very minimal heat inside the boot and didn't 'sweat' the leg down by the end of the day. It's also very easy to clean and dries quickly. The only issue I've ever had with them is if you go through a field you are probably going to have to pull off a couple burrs off the outer material
Like others have stated, fitting is paramount, but once you have the correct size fitted properly, the Legacy system boot is the best!!!"
