Leather Lunge Caveson 2 5 5 5
Very well made. A must have for training. Happy with my purchase! October 27, 2012
Not worth it I bought this for my 16.2 Paint gelding and a 14.2 Mustang (his head is a little big). It fits both of their heads after punching several holes in it but the leather is still stiff and does not mold to either face very well, especially around their noses. When I lunge it slips over their eyes no matter how I adjust it and when I clip side reins on, the brass fitting pull off the nose padding and dig into them so it makes it useless. Wish I hadn't punched the holes in it so I could return it. May 24, 2012
Lunging Caveson-Poor Design I agree with the other users. The caveson was not constructed/designed very well. The straps on the side of the face pull over the eye when lunging and interferes with the horse's eye. The straps should have been made farther down the side of the horse's face. I have a quarter horse and the noseband does not mold to his face either (very stiff) and have had to punch various holes in all the straps to fit him. Not a good design at all and at this price should be flexible and adjustable. December 27, 2010
poor design This longe cavesson is quite poorly designed. The joint right on the front of the nose does not allow it to conform to the horse's face and it therefore pulls side to side and hits the eye. April 30, 2010
Stiff and limited adjustability I have a 3 yr old warmblood with average head and this has very few punch holes for adjustment options. Leather is stiff and nose band does not mold to horse at all - therefore completely ineffective. I was shocked by the poor quality and I will try to return. April 3, 2010
