Great bit BUT
This bit is a good price and nicely made BUT they way it comes, the curb hook is turned and very open in a way that jabs into the horse's left cheek. This can be remedied by using pliers to close the hook up a bit, but I wish this were taken into account when the bits were created as it can be hard to find pliers around the barn--and some people might not realize what's happening and not fix it. The horse I ride definitely reacted to the hook with head flinging when turning, but was fine once it had been fixed with pliers.

Good control!
Love this bit! It makes my Thoroughbred very easy to handle. Wouldn't use any other bit!

This bit works very well with my Thoroughbred, it makes him very easy to control. I am very pleased with my purchase, and the quality is good.

Just enough stop
I got this for a couple of schoolies that love to leave the arena, or get a tiny bit strong. The bit gives my tiny students just enough power that the ponies can actually hear what they are being told.

Beautiful bit!
My gelding, on a wilder day, needs a little bit more than his copper link D-ring. When he's in a heavy, pulling mood, this aids me in working him out of that very quickly.
It's a beautiful, shiny bit, and comes clean very nicely. I don't always use it, so when it's not in use, it sits in a bucket with the other idle bits. I just wipe the dust off, give it a little scrub with a sponge and water, and it's clean and ready to go.
It can be squeaky sometimes, but then again it's not in constant use, so that's a very mild factor. Overall a great product.

I am so pleased to finally receive this bit I have looked at all my local horse stores and ordered it from other catalogs only to be back ordered or canceled i have tried for 6 months so i am very pleased to have it and it is exactly what i wanted! thanks for such prompt and easy service
