Korsteel Beval Loose Ring Snaffle 4.8 5 12 12
Great Value The quality of the bit is great for the price. This bit worked wonders for my horse who leans in the corners. The leverage this bit creates was just what I needed. March 29, 2013
My horse LOVES it. Originally, I planned to use this bit just when I hack out with friends and go on gallops, etc, as my mare tends to be excitable and really loves to take off. I had a simple french link loose ring, which she used to go great in. Lately, she's hated that bit! My horse is a teeth grinder- and it's just a habit of hers, really. We've had her chiropracted, tack checked, teeth checked, scoped for ulcers, and the vet basically said it's just what she does. If anyone deals with this habit- IT IS AWFUL. I asked for this bit and a bridle for christmas from Smartpak, and rode her in it the other day, just to break in the bridle. Wow! She was a different horse! I am now using this bit during all my rides, she goes so well in this! No teeth grinding, and she is actually salivating, and a lot! My horse has never done either. Plus, it gives just the right amount of "whoa" for her to really listen. This bit is honestly incredible- I've seen it be called a "wonder bit" and it really is! I plan to get more for each of my bridles. Never going back to another bit! January 1, 2013
Love this bit! This bit gives me the leverage I need to slow my horse down without being so harsh that he hides from the bit. September 6, 2012
Love this bit! This bit has made all the difference for cross country schooling, gives me control without being as harsh as a gag. August 14, 2012
Love this bit! I was looking for a step up from a snaffle with a little bit of leverage, but not too much, and I didn't want to pay $90 for a Mylar Eggbut with hooks. I love this bit, great price, my horse likes it better than the Mylar one, and would definitely recommend it to any one who wants to stay fairly soft, but whose horse doesn't quite respect a plain snaffle. love this bit! great if you have a horse who leans on the bit but don't want as much leverage as a gag, it does the job without being too harsh if i make a mistake! love it March 20, 2012

To Clip or Not to Clip I've heard that body clipping in the spring is "too late" because you're clipping over the newly growing in coat... What do you think? What's the best body clipping schedule? - Jessica N., Charlotte, VT
