"SmarkPak asks for a durability rating but wants a review right away, so I gave them a good since they've been thru the wash once and held up.
Only negative:
They go on and off easy, but need the third velcro like the horse ones. They gap in the middle, so I put some vetwrap loose, around the middle to keep them closed. This is a bit of a pain but for the price (less than half single pair cost, for horse size) they're good.

"Leg flies are always a challege, even in the best-kept barns. These boots are helping my 2 tolerate these pests. They wear them outside in their pastures, and also in their stalls. The velcro makes it easy to re-adjust daily and check the horses legs.
A 3rd velcro closure would be helpful to prevent gapping and holding them up.(Horse size have 3).

"The pony fly boots only have 2 straps. With only 2 straps, the fly boots were open in the middle. Tried several different ways to strap on the boots, but none worked. Do not buy!"

"These fly boots only have 2 straps for ponies. A strap is needed in the middle; the boots open in the middle where there is no strap. The flies can fly in where the boot is open."

"I love the looks and fit of the Kengston fly boots; however they started sagging after a couple of months and then pulling apart at some seams. I bought 8 boots for my two horses and all but probably 3 started to pull apart. They didn't rub the horses in any certain spots so they were fine on that aspect."

"The picture for the pony fly boots shows that they have 3 velcro strips to secure the boot; only come with 2. With only two straps the fly boots sag badly and that causes a large gap. I sewed an additional strap in the middle and that did help the boots stay up. I wish they would have put stronger velcro on the straps and had a better adjustment range (only has velcro about 2" on the bands). My pony is very good about taking off her fly boots; velcro is too easy to undo. The plus side - at least you get a set of 4."
