Excellent Soft Bit
I love using this bit on horses that need a bit about as strong as dental floss. The loose ring and the jointed mouthpiece make it a great bit for thoroughbreds with sensitive mouths or babies just getting started. If you believe, like I do, that less in your horse's mouth is the best way to go, this is a great bit. Most of my advance to a regular D-ring French-link, but this is the one I always start with.

A wonderful bit
I had been riding my OTTB gelding in single jointed bit for 3 years. But just recently he has been throwing fits and was having a hard time schooling second level work, so my trainer suggested that we try a double jointed bit. So I order this bit and I couldn't be happier. My horse now collects even better and is so much happier about schooling second level work. All of his bad habbits have dissapered. I was worried about the thickness of the bit because I haved used thicker bits in the past, and Finn hated them. But he really loves this bit and he is much softer in the mouth and much much more responsive. This is the best bit ever!

Nice bit.
Very nice bit for the price. Like the small rings.

Very good bit for OTTBs starting retraining
Bought this for my OTTB because a roller bit was too distracting and a normal jointed snaffle pokes them in the roof of his mouth. Got him this bit because a similar bit was working well for my friends 5yr old and he has really changed and offers to collect and offer collection alot now. A very good deal for any new or young horse first goings.

just what I expected
A good, inexpensive extra bit for my new starter dressage bridle. Looks good, and the price was good!

Excellent Bit
After trying every bridle in the barn, i found this bit and thought it worth a shot. It worked wonders. For the first time i was able to bend, flex, and collect a very intelligent, but very inclined to bucking, mare. We have since moved on to curb bit of this mouth and she is doing great. I have also used it on some other horses as a way to keep their mouths fresh and ive never had an issue. Its soft and round, doesn't pinch the tongue or the cheek and is and unusual shape so its good for horses that have gotten "hard" to their normal bit. Highly recommend.
