Fantastic!!! This is one of the best bit buys that I have ever made. It fits my stocky QH gelding like a dream I bought the 5" and the finish is even and shiny. I love how large the D's are, they look attractive on a larger head like one on a Quarter Horse, I have seen this bit on a petite thoroughbred and it was a little big for her dainty structure, this bit does not squeak and is curved nicely. Nice Quality Bit A very nice quality bit, worked well at first for my horse, but he ended up needing something different. Still a great bit to keep around. March 15, 2012
Very Attractive Bit This bit has large D's that helped my blocky quarter horse look a little more refined, YAY! it sits very nicley in his mouth on his tounge and he accepted it immediatley. It is a terrific addition to our tack, the D's look smaller in the picture than in real life so read the measurements then look at a ruler so you can get an accurate vision of the size it really is. Good control I have a fast mover who is hard to keep under control and whose favorite speed is fast. Walking is not a favorite pace. This bit worked really well and she accepted it with no problem. December 28, 2011
high quality! I decided to rinse several of my bits in a bucket outside one day (in November) and completely forgot about them - all winter! I just found them TODAY (May) not a hint of rust at all! High quality! May 6, 2011
Overall fair quality I like how this bit curves so you never have to question which way it should go on the bridle. It is pretty squeaky, especially at first, but I am used to it by now. December 19, 2010

To Clip or Not to Clip I've heard that body clipping in the spring is "too late" because you're clipping over the newly growing in coat... What do you think? What's the best body clipping schedule? - Jessica N., Charlotte, VT
