Simplicity This is so much easier and cleaner than how I used to dose my horse. In the past, a drug store formulated the isox into a liquid format to squirt on grain, but I never felt the dosage remained consistent. The liquid would settle, plug the syringe, freeze in the winter and sink to the bottom of the pail instead of to the grain. My horse eats peppermints as an after work treat and he licks the peppermint flavored powder out of the bucket attached to the wall with no spillage. April 8, 2013
Flavored medication is Great! I just started using this product at the recommendation of my veterinarian - my horse is doing somewhat better but is probably too early to tell for sure. March 13, 2013
great company gret value with the price matching and always super friendly and helpful January 20, 2013
Very Easy! Has certainly helped my chronic laminitic mare by increasing circulation to her compromised hooves and helped with stocking up when she was on stall rest; coupled with additional meds and great vets and farriers of course! The simple fact that all I have to do with this med is peel and pour makes the additonal cost, versus pills, worth it. She's a very picky eater and the peppermint flavor is really palatable to her. It's something she'll need forever and having it on autoship in my smartpaks is crucial. Thanks Smartpak for offering this! June 30, 2012
Prefer tablets It is hard to know if your horse is eating it all since its powder and the powder sticks to the bottom of the feeder. cost is a bit pricey compared to tablets November 16, 2011
Great way to feed This was the easiest way to feed meds!!!! Don't have to crush pills or worry about all that.....just peel off the lid and pour in the feed. Can't be beat. Thanks, Smart Paks!! October 5, 2011

To Clip or Not to Clip I've heard that body clipping in the spring is "too late" because you're clipping over the newly growing in coat... What do you think? What's the best body clipping schedule? - Jessica N., Charlotte, VT
