IRH 4G Helmet 3.4 5 5 5
Love it I really love this helmet, especially the lining. After riding, I can take the lining out and let it dry, so I don't have to put a sweaty helmet back on the next day. The fit is wonderful and it looks good on me. April 22, 2013
Ok so a few weeks ago I received this helmet and was unhappy with it, however I've come to change my mind. I actually really like it. It does look big from the front but looks pretty cool and low profile from the sides and back. It's very comfortable and padded, and seems to fit well. It does sit down on my forehead a tiny bit but since I wear a size 7 1/8 and ordered the Medium which is 7 1/8-7 1/4 that's to be expected. I'm so accustomed to riding everyday in a small troxel helmet that this type of helmet just took some getting used to. The excess chin strap is too long, so I just cut it off and burned the tip a little to prevent it from pulling through the clip. I do like this helmet though and would probably recommend it. Maybe just a bad fit. I normally wear a size 7 helmet with my hair down, and a size 7 1/8 with my hair up for shows. I needed a helmet for showing only so I ordered the size large. Unfortunately this helmet doesn't come in a size 7 to 7 1/8 but instead the large is a size 7 1/8-7 1/4 so I figured it would be a little big. It does wiggle a little on my head even with my hair up, and is definitely too big to wear for everyday riding with my hair down. I think this helmet would have fit better if it had come in a Medium/large size but it doesn't come with that so I'm going to have to make do. It does give a mushroom head look but maybe it wouldn't do that if the helmet was smaller on me. Overall the helmet is very pretty but just doesn't fit me right. The excess chin strap is a pain to deal with. It has an area for a velcro closure to prevent the strap from flapping around, but didn't fit right so I just cut off the velcro end anyway. This helmet also feels hot pretty much right when you put it on, and I'm not sure if it will keep my head cool or not. Besides the pretty look of the helmet, I'm not impressed. I should have just bought the IRH air 10 helmet like I originally was considering, at least that comes in my exact size. March 2, 2013
Maybe just the wrong fit... This helmet is pretty and appears fairly well made, however it doesn't fit me right. I normally wear a size 7 with my hair down, to a 7 1/8 with my hair up for shows. This helmet was going to be for shows only, but the size medium is for head sizes 6 7/8 - 7 which would have been too small, but the large size is for sizes 7 1/8 – 7 1/4 which is a tiny bit too big but I decided to give it a shot and ordered the large. The helmet doesn't slide around on my head too bad, but it does wiggle a little which is annoying, and there's no way to adjust the helmet, like a dial or cinch fit does, so it is what it is unfortunately. I wish the helmet came in a size 7-7 1/8 which I think would have fit me better. The excess strap hanging out from the chin clip has velcro to velcro down to the other strap so it's not hanging down or flapping around, but the stap is too long to attach to the strip without having a big loop anyway. It was a good idea but not thought out well enough to work well. This helmet also looks big and bulky. If you don't want to have the "mushroom head look", I don't think I would suggest buying this helmet. I do like that it's a knockoff from the $300 One K helmets though since I couldn't afford that, but I just wish it fit better. March 1, 2013
WOW Knockoff much? Do a google search for the one K helmets... I guess there is no such thing as helmet design copyright. I have this original helmet, the one K. Never liked my IRH ... Awkward fitting. February 20, 2013

To Clip or Not to Clip I've heard that body clipping in the spring is "too late" because you're clipping over the newly growing in coat... What do you think? What's the best body clipping schedule? - Jessica N., Charlotte, VT
