Hy-Flex Pellets 4.3 5 2 3
Supplement Change I was a little nervous when my horse, Mugs', joint supplement changed from powder to pellet form, because he can be picky, and I knew he would eat the powder. But there was no problem. When they first arrived, I put some of the pellets in my hand, and offered them to Mugs. One sniff, and he gobbled them up, and wanted more. September 21, 2010
I've had my horse on this for about a year and he does better with it. I tried to take him off it over the past winter (tried flaxseed instead) and you could tell that his joint pain started bothering him again, so I re-started it. It does appear to help him. Joint supplements for horses sure do seem overpriced to me. I bought this one because of the ingredients it has at the price point. I can still hear some of his joints popping sometimes, but it does seem to help his comfort and he is still usable for light work such as walking the trail (which he loves to do). July 27, 2010

To Clip or Not to Clip I've heard that body clipping in the spring is "too late" because you're clipping over the newly growing in coat... What do you think? What's the best body clipping schedule? - Jessica N., Charlotte, VT
