At last, at last! My travel has made it impossible for me to keep my horse in consistent training so I have hired several "professionals" over the years. As a result my horse has learned every evasion in the book. This quality item has helped me to regain control. I used it for a week and now I'm back in a Snaffel. I intend to use it if-and-when my horse becomes heavy in hand as a reminder, as well as, when we are ready to move to a double bridle. With the low, wide port I don't feel guilty that I'm hurting my horses pallet or tongue. Definitely pricey but for me it returned my horse to a mount I can be proud of again January 21, 2013
love the contoured mouth the forward angled mouth allows this bit to sit comfortably in the mouth and allows the tounge a good deal of freedom. I also love how the mouth is aurigan and the shanks are stainless. It is worth the upgrade from a normal weymouth bit. Plus, the curb hooks are flattened and it comes with the super cool KD curbchain that lies perfectly flat! April 16, 2010

To Clip or Not to Clip I've heard that body clipping in the spring is "too late" because you're clipping over the newly growing in coat... What do you think? What's the best body clipping schedule? - Jessica N., Charlotte, VT
