Herm Sprenger Boot Jack 5 5 2 2
Herm Sprenger Proves Again I'm a fan of Herm Sprenger. And although a little pricey, this boot jack is another welcome addition to my HS collection of highly useful and proven tools. I have arthritis and double cessmoids in my feet. Taking off boots, and sometimes just slip-on sneakers can be quite painful. This boot jack is super sturdy, so when I take off even my super tight and "sticky" boots, the jack doesn't move under my foot. It has given ease to the once dreaded procedure of removing clunky boots from painful feet. May 22, 2010
No Bruised Shins Have you ever used the less expensive wood or plastic boot jacks and had your foot slide out only to bang painfully into the leg that you are standing on? I have had this happen more times than I can count. Forget having my husband try to pull the boots off. That was even more traumatic. I was tired of bruised shins and a cranky husband so I went in search of a better boot jack. I have found the solution to my problems with the Herm Sprenger jack. Your foot locks into the jack allowing you to wiggle and pull as hard as you need to get the boot off without fear of causing serious damage to your other leg. I have used this jack for an entire show season and never had an issue with my foot slipping out. My shins are much happier, and my husband is thrilled! This is well worth the extra money vs. buying a less expensive jack. Thank you SmartPak once again for offering a better solution to an age old problem. June 27, 2006

To Clip or Not to Clip I've heard that body clipping in the spring is "too late" because you're clipping over the newly growing in coat... What do you think? What's the best body clipping schedule? - Jessica N., Charlotte, VT
