Harwich Padded Fancy Stitch Noseband by SmartPak 4 5 3 3
Used to match my Antares bridle! I bought an Antares figure 8 noseband bridle about 5 years ago and since then they have stopped selling the "old style" nosebands because now their bridles have a monocrown. The stitching isn't exactly the same but the color is almost identical and it's just as supple once I applied oil. It's just what I needed! I wish it came in a lighter brown as well. :) Also, I need a flash converter for in the summer and the "Flash Converter" that doesn't have a listed brand name matches really well too. Not superior, but OK I bought the fancy reins to replace a pair from another bridle, and then ended up wanting the headstall. Smartpak would not sell me the bridle minus the reins, which i had already, so I got the browband and caveson. The caveson is not as nice as the other two: leather for the noseband is kind of thick, and hard to buckle. The buckle end is not quite what i would have liked: depending on your horse, it could catch on your horse's jaw when the horse opens it's jaw. OK, but not a spectacular. It does look nice on the horse! January 21, 2013
