Harwich Fancy Stitch Laced Reins by SmartPak 4.2 5 5 5
Very Nice for the Price I purchased these reins to go with a bridle I got on sale without reins. They darkened very well with oiling, but I have yet to break them in enough for them to loose their slippery feel. They are also a little stiff, but I suspect that with more use and proper care they will soften up well. I love the raised fancy stitching on them- it is very hard to find just reins that have fancy stiching on them and are not $200! April 14, 2013
Nice reins! I ordered these as a replacement to the original pair that came with my bridle. They're lovely. Broke in quickly, good grip, match my bridle, I made an error and ordered a 2" longer pair than my originals--should have gone shorter; they're a little long for my 16.2H TB... I catch the extra rein on my right toe when we're jumping. My fault entirely. Lovely, lovely reins & great value. January 25, 2013
Better than original reins I purchased these reins as a replacement on a one year old bridle. These reins, while somewhat stiff, have broken in fairly easily and are an attractive replacement on my schooling bridle and are actually nicer than the set that was on the Nunn Finer bridle. I would not recommend for showing at a high level as they are not particularly substantial. October 30, 2012
these reins are very nice. pretty color, nice detail. a little stiff, took some oiling to get them to soften up but that is with any new leather product. overall i was extremely pleased with the quality of these reins. May 16, 2012
OK for the price The reins I received are lighter in color than they appeared in the picture (I have not tried to darken them) and did not have a shiny finish. The leather is an acceptable weight though somewhat stiff and dry at first. May 18, 2010
