Happy Mouth Shaped Mullen Mouth Elevator 4.3 5 3 3
Happy Mouth=Happy Horse Finally, a bit that my horse will accept. He has a very low pallet and has hated every bit I have tried on him before this one. Although it measures true to size, I had to get a larger size than he normally wears, don't know why. March 21, 2013
Nice Bit This bit gave just enough stopping power without too much. The bit also helped with steering issues. Our mare would flip her head and become very strong in the open at gallop. We had tried a Waterford and a running martingale but felt like it wasn't giving good control. We had to buy pony-sized cheek pieces to go on our cob-sized mare as well as rubber bit guards because of the pinch factor when the bit is put into action. June 21, 2012
Seemed to be good quality I bought this bit for my draft cross, but ended up returning it because I couldn't shorten my cheekpieces enough to hold this bit in its proper place. Seemed to be good quality but I do worry about how the plastic would hold up to a bit chomper. February 9, 2012

To Clip or Not to Clip I've heard that body clipping in the spring is "too late" because you're clipping over the newly growing in coat... What do you think? What's the best body clipping schedule? - Jessica N., Charlotte, VT
