Grooma Rake 4.3 5 12 15
Cannot recommend I bought one of these to use on my Morgans' thick manes and tails. All I can say is that it does NOT tackle tough jobs quickly, as advertised. It did, however, break quickly. The plastic around the "patented, rotating teeth" broke, leaving my rake missing some teeth. Stick with the Oster mane and tail brush! May 19, 2012
Fantastic grooming tool I bought this as a comb for one of my horses with a really thick mane. Works great without pulling on the hair when knotted and my horse tolerates it a lot more than the average mane comb. I could not find my shedding tool and used this to get most of the hair off of one of my really woolly horses. It worked great for that too! April 12, 2012
Love this comb! I spray the tail and mane - (I use Canter) and then comb it out. I start a little at the top, then I go to the end, then back up, etc. Until the whole mane and tail are combed. No breakage and no lost hairs. The "spokes" swivel and seem to give a bit. And the tail and mane look great for days! January 26, 2012
Just Ok I really don't like these that much. They are great if there are no knots in the mane or tail but I prefer to use an actual mane and tail brush rather than one of these. But they are made really well and last. September 14, 2011
Great for thick manes! So far this has been the only comb that has been able to work the tangles out of my horse's mane without breaking the brush! Use a conditioner first to avoid breaking the hair. December 16, 2009
my favorite mane/tail brush I will ALWAYS have a grooma rake in my grooming kit! November 30, 2009

To Clip or Not to Clip I've heard that body clipping in the spring is "too late" because you're clipping over the newly growing in coat... What do you think? What's the best body clipping schedule? - Jessica N., Charlotte, VT
