Great half chaps
I bought these to replace my Fuller Fillies calfskin half chaps, which were wonderful but wore out in short order. These are comfortable, easy to put on, and have great stretch. The chaps themselves are well made from soft but durable leather, and the zipper is obviously high quality. I've used them for six months now and they have hardly any signs of wear.
The only con: I do not like the elastic snap at the bottom. It does not hold the zipper in place. The zipper does not un-zip because it's well-made, but the snaps have nothing to do with that.

Looks like real tall boots
Just love my fuller fillies ali gater half chaps. Unless you look very closely, you'd think they were tall boots. Fit runs true to size and they are comfortable.

Love, Love, LOVE these!
Let me just say that I am so thrilled to finally have found a pair of half chaps that fit my short, fat calves! My calf measures exactly 17" around at the thickest part, and the Regular size fits me like a dream. The chaps seem well made. I love the brass detail at the top. I bought these with the Ariat Heritage 3 Paddock boots and they look great together. I may not ever go back to tall boots for schooling again!

Finally, a chap that fits
I finally found a chap that fits a short wide calf! They look great and feel great too. Size is true. Doesn't ride up or down like others. My instructor loved them also.

these FullerFillies chaps are working for me and they look good, but i'd prefer them a notch tighter, especially just above the ankle.
that said, i have large calves, which are notoriously difficult to cover.
the chaps look nice, and the leather seems strong enough to last, but i only had those for little time, so it's too early to say anything.
good chaps for the price, anyway.

Great Half Chaps
I have hard-to-fit wide calves, but these fit just as described. Plus they're comfortable and look really good -- got compliments the first time I wore them.
